Electric Car J1772 Charger Holder for Drivers
Carefully crafted to safeguard your expensive EVSE, this extra durable mount comes with 4 mounting screws and ensures that bugs and dirt stay out. Professionally fabricated in a local factory in Canada, this holster is not 3D printed, but rather made from 100 percent recovered/recycled ABS plastic originating in the USA.
As the first and original maker of these open source dummy inlets, I have been asked to deliver higher numbers since catching some attention. This unit is based on my popular hooded dummy, which can hold your J1772 plug and coiled cable simultaneously. Each pin has its own dedicated hole, preventing bugs from creating a mess in the space between the plug and the inlet, and also keeping rain, snow, and dirt out of your plug.
The square hole on the back/top of the unit is necessary to add the hook/latch, and it is much smaller in this injection molded version. The most important part of your plug, the pins, remains fully protected. This durable injection-molded holster includes instructions and screws, and is based on the original open source design by Joel Clemens, diverting landfill-bound plastic.
